Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the diagnostic value of the echocardiography in coronary sinus malformation drainage.MethodsRetrospective analysis of clinical data of 2 cases of patients with coronary sinus malformation drainage, who were referred to our center for ablation of the paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.ResultsOf the 2 cases electrodes were all difficult to be reached at the designated position. Then the coronary angiography was performed. In one case, the coronary sinus flowed into the right precava by vertical veins. In the other case, coronary sinus returned respectively by vertical vein and small venous, and then flowed into right atrium.Bedside echocardiography showed that the two coronary sinus openings occlusion, coronary sinus went up line by vertical vein and then flowed into right atrium by right superior vena cava. All radiofrequency ablation of 2 cases were successfully.ConclusionRelevant imaging examinations before radiofrequency ablation are helpful to rule out structural abnormalities of the heart.Echocardiography has great advantages in the diagnosis of coronary sinus malformation drainage.
