Abstract：The psychosomatic reactions of excessive diagnosis,overdone treatment,misdiagnosis and incorrect treatment have been reviewed and analyzed from five medical specialties,which shows a reform in the diagnosis and treatment mode is imminent.An analysis is made of the relationship between the symptoms-only-oriented medical practice without considering patients′ different personalities and the above mentioned excessive diagnostic procedures,overdone treatment,misdiagnosis and incorrect treatment,from which we summed up some manipulation procedures promoting the medical service transformation related to the mode of diagnosis and treatment.In the process of diagnosis and treatment,physician’s attention should be payed not only to the diseases but also to the patients’ personalities,stress events,responses to the disease and his/her coping styles.Thus,clinical approach requires two aspects,medication and psychological assessment should be done by the physician simultaneously.This study concludes that current practice limits in patient′s assessment,diagnosis and treatment needs reform.This reformation will serve as a mark of the progress in medical service.Now it allows no delay to change our medical service in both thoughts and practice in the face of the timeworn mode of clinical medicine that deals with disease and patient separately and the current unfavourable environment of doctorpatient relationship.
