Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the papers published in the Chinese Journal of Diagnostics (Electronic Edition) from 2016 to 2018. MethodsAll articles published in the Chinese Journal of Diagnostics (Electronic Edition) from 2016 to 2018 were analyzed, including the number, column and style of published articles, the institution and area distribution of the first author. ResultsFrom 2016 to 2018, 12 issues of the Chinese Journal of Diagnostics (Electronic Edition) were published, with 864 pages, 17.75 items per tissue and 4.06 pages per item. Original articles (125) were the main style of published papers, accounting for 58.69%, while review articles(68) accounted for 31.92%. There were 138 articles on clinical medicine, accounting for 64.79%, among which 29 articles on diseases of circulation system, accounting for 13.62%.Authors were distributed in 25 provinces or autonomous regions, in 65 institutions, mostly in economically developed areas, among which Shandong amounted for 39.44%(84). It had a steady author group, the citations were 17.73-21.20 per article which increased year by year. ConclusionsFrom 2016 to 2018,the annual published articles and paper density on Chinese Journal of Diagnostics (Electronic Edition) decrease, and its main style of published papers is the original article, clinical research is the majority. The authors are nation-wide distribution, and the citations per article increase.
